Qualifications

• 4 year degree required.
• CPA or EA license required.
• 8+ years federal tax experience in a professional services firm.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted engagement team member delivering federal tax compliance and advisory services.
• Lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters for middle market to multinational clients.
• Consult on corporate and flow-through taxation, ASC 740, and related projects.
• Research tax issues and respond to IRS inquiries with actionable client recommendations.
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complex matters and incentives.
• Oversee staffing, billing, and profitability targets for engagements.
• Develop staff through Baker Tilly's Care and Teach philosophy and mentorship.
• Foster internal/external relationships to grow client base and revenue.
