Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or law, or a similar degree in business.
• CPA or JD required.
• Eight+ years of federal tax compliance and consulting experience in a professional services firm.
• Five+ years of supervisory experience and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing federal tax compliance and consulting services to middle-market to multinational clients.
• Lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters.
• Consult on corporate and flow-through taxation, ASC 740, and related projects.
• Research tax matters and respond to IRS inquiries with actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on state/local, international, R&D, credits and incentives.
• Manage engagement staffing, billing, and profitability targets.
