Baker Tilly is seeking a Federal Tax Senior Associate to join its rapidly growing advisory practice within Iselin, NJ. You will deliver industry-focused tax compliance and advisory services to middle-market clients and be part of a collaborative engagement team.

You'll work on diverse projects, including S-corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations, with opportunities for career growth, mentoring, and flexible work arrangements. CPA or JD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or law is required or equivalent
• CPA or JD license preferred depending on role and client needs
• Strong time management, communication and analytical skills required

Responsibilities

• Provide federal tax compliance and advisory services to middle market clients
• Work with S-corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations
• Participate in tax research and draft IRS responses
• Team on corporate and flow-through taxation projects (ASC 740)
• Develop client recommendations and present to leadership
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on state/local, international, credits and incentives
• Receive on-the-job coaching and participate in firm learning programs
• Build client relationships and contribute to team development
