Job summary

ZF LIFETEC is seeking a Senior Tax Accounting Manager to join our team in the US. The role focuses on tax planning, reporting, and compliance with international tax laws, ensuring timely tax filings while cross-functionally supporting the organization.

You will manage current and deferred tax calculations, prepare returns, and lead audits within the region, partnering with teams globally to optimize tax outcomes and drive strategic tax projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in US and regional tax matters with strong technical skills.
• Experience with Mexico Maquiladora structures is a plus.
• Business-oriented with cross-functional focus and customer-centric approach.
• Strong communication and advanced process-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage calculations of current and deferred taxes for budget, year-end and interim periods for group entities in the region.
• Prepare and submit income tax returns for group entities in the region.
• Lead local tax audits and interface with tax authorities.
• Support international tax planning, cash optimization and ad-hoc tax projects such as M&A.
• Partner with peers across functions and regions to drive tax alignment.
• Lead and develop the regional tax team.

ZF LIFETEC is looking for a Senior Tax Accounting Manager to join the team! Overall, the Senior Tax Accounting Manager will be responsible for working cross collaboratively and functionally across the organization on topics related to tax planning, reporting and compliance with international tax laws and regulations; ensuring notable tax filing by statutory filing deadlines.

Your Tasks

• Manage calculations of current and deferred taxes for budget, year-end and interim periods for the group entities in the region
• Manage preparation and timely submission of income tax returns for group entities in region
• Manage local tax audits and establish relationship with responsible tax authorities
• Support in international tax planning, cash optimization and other ad-hoc tax projects such as mergers and acquisitions.
• Business partnering and establishing effective lines of communication with relevant peers and contacts in other functions and regions.
• Lead tax team members in the region

Your Profile

• 10+ year experience with US and regional tax matters, strong technical skills, including sales, use and property taxes
• Experience with Mexican Maquiladora structures is a plus
• Business understanding and strong business orientation (cross-functional focus, customer centricity, solution-oriented)
• Strong communication and advanced process-management skill
• Ability to work independently
• Motivator & team leading skills
