Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting, or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting.
• Current CPA license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance and advisory services for individuals (Forms 1040, 1040-NR), partnerships (Form 1065), and corporations (Forms 1120, 1120-S).
• Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters and communicate findings through written reports.
• Review tax returns prepared by others to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders to identify tax issues and implement practical solutions.
• Drive client service excellence and foster long-term relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Support client growth and retention through strategic planning and business development.
• Contribute to business development by assisting with proposals and client acquisition.
• Mentor and manage tax professionals, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Manage resources, budgets, and project workflows to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Maintain technical expertise through Continuing Professional Education (CPE).
• Contribute to thought leadership by authoring technical publications and leading internal training.
