Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking an experienced Tax professional to manage compliance and advisory services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations across diverse industries in MO. The role involves researching complex tax matters, mentoring staff, and contributing to business development.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA license with 7+ years of progressive tax experience, and is willing to travel for client engagements and internal meetings. Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field is required.
• 7+ years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting or a mix of corporate and public accounting.
• Current and valid CPA license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings; overnight travel may be required.

Responsabilités

• Manage tax compliance and advisory services for individuals (Forms 1040, 1040-NR), partnerships (Form 1065), and corporations (Forms 1120, 1120-S).
• Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters and communicate findings through written reports.
• Review tax return preparations for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders to identify tax issues and provide practical solutions.
• Drive client service excellence and foster long-term relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Support client growth and retention through strategic planning and development.
• Contribute to business development through proposals and client acquisition.
