You will collaborate with tax, accounting, and finance teams to identify benefits and minimize exposures, while mentoring staff and contributing to business development.

The role emphasizes technical tax expertise, interpersonal communication, project management, and leadership within a national practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or Finance required.
• Master’s degree, JD, or CPA preferred.
• Seven+ years of Federal tax client service experience required.
• CPA/EA/JD licensure considered depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on tax topics and prepare memos.
• Ensure client compliance with applicable tax authorities.
• Develop solutions to maximize tax benefits for clients.
• Represent clients in tax controversy contexts when needed.
• Identify opportunities across accounting methods and reporting.
• Advance strategy development and client marketing efforts.
• Supervise and develop Accounting Methods staff.
