Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead Tax E-Compliance initiatives, drive process improvements, and translate tax requirements for technical teams across Amazon’s invoicing ecosystem.

The role requires 5+ years of program management, experience with data-driven optimization, and strong collaboration with Finance, IT, and Tax teams. Location in Seattle, WA with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

5+ years of program or project management experience.
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

Lead projects and align objectives with project owners, sponsors, and SMEs.
Present complex concepts to cross-functional executive audiences.
Drive process improvements to improve operational efficiencies and metrics.
Gather and translate tax requirements for technical teams and stakeholders.
Trace data through invoicing systems and document end-to-end data flows.
Identify risks to scope or timeline and escalate to leadership.
Collaborate across teams to deliver E-Compliance initiatives for global tax.
Identifying areas of risk to the project scope or timeline, and escalating to program leadership in a timely manner
Dive deep where needed to resolve blocking issues during project planning, execution, testing, launch and cutover
