Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join the Global Tax PMO. This role partners with Finance, Tax, Accounting and Technology teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex, multi-year programs across more than 15 functions.

The successful candidate will drive program strategy, manage scope, and communicate progress to senior leaders. Experience with data-driven decision making and familiarity with AI tools is highly valued to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Knowledge of general AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Managing work streams and/or projects from initiation through planning, execution, and closeout.
• Taking the lead role with project owners, sponsors and subject matter experts to align on project and workstream objectives.
• Communicating the overall program roadmap and periodic status updates to executive stakeholder body including Amazon Businesses, Tax, Accounting, Treasury, HR, Legal, Finance Operations and related technical teams.
• Proactively leveraging AI tools and automation to drive operational efficiency, accelerate delivery timelines, and free up capacity for higher-value strategic work across the team.
