Job summary

IDEX Consulting is recruiting for a mid-level to senior tax associate for a prominent US law firm expanding on the East Coast, Texas, or Florida. The role focuses on transactional tax work, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and restructurings, with early client contact and integration with corporate, real estate, and restructuring groups.

You will draft operative tax provisions, advise on tax-free reorganisations, and engage in international work such as inbound/outbound

Qualifications

• 4–8 years post-qualification experience in corporate/transactional tax.
• Bar admission to the state where resident is intended.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise on tax aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and restructurings.
• Draft and negotiate tax provisions in purchase/sale agreements and M&A documents.
• Provide guidance on tax-free reorganisations and tax-deferred arrangements.
