RSM US LLP in Las Vegas seeks a Tax Controversy/Practice and Procedure professional to join our Washington National Tax team. You will assist senior professionals on IRS examinations, research technical issues, and prepare communications to the IRS.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, strong writing and research skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. CPA or Enrolled Agent is preferred. We offer a hybrid work model and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited university.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to meet client service, quality, and performance expectations within deadlines.
• Ability to communicate clearly with firm personnel and clients professionally.
• Effective project management skills to handle multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Assist senior professionals with IRS examinations and IRS appeals matters.
• Research technical issues related to IRS practice and procedural issues.
• Prepare written communications to the IRS regarding penalty abatements.
• Work on IRS account issues, corrections and reconciliations.
• Assist senior professionals with Private Letter Ruling Requests.
• Participate in firm trainings.
