AAA is seeking an Associate Manager, Tax Administration to oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance, accounting, and audits. This hands-on role combines supervising staff with hands-on preparation of returns, provisions, and analyses, collaborating with the Tax Director on planning and strategy.

The position involves managing end-to-end filings, ASC 740 disclosures, and driving process improvements and technology adoption while supporting business units on tax implications.

Qualifikationen

• CPA designation required.
• 7–9 years of progressive corporate tax experience.
• Strong U.S. federal and state tax compliance and accounting knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage end-to-end domestic income tax compliance, including preparing extensions, estimated payments, and tax returns; review staff work for accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review income tax provisions under ASC 740; perform current and deferred tax calculations and disclosures.
• Manage and review indirect tax returns (sales/use, property, licenses, etc.).
• Support Tax Director with planning, monitoring changes in tax law, and driving process improvements and technology adoption.
• Manage responses to audits and information requests; coordinate with external advisors and internal teams.
• Review tax journal entries and monthly reconciliations; ensure documentation and controls.
• Supervise, train, and develop tax staff.
