Aardvark Tax Advisors, the accounting and client services practice of Cynch AI, is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to prepare federal, state, and local returns and build the technical foundation of tax work. You will work on diverse entities and ensure accuracy while meeting deadlines.

This role can be performed from anywhere in the continental United States, with the majority of clients in California. You'll grow through formal training and gain experience across tax laws, regulations, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years in tax, accounting, or a related field.
• Working understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple returns simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state, and local returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.
• Handle client questions on returns and notices with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Maintain client files and records in a review-ready state.
• Engage in ongoing learning to expand tax law knowledge and capabilities.
