Job summary

EisnerAmper in Baton Rouge seeks a Tax Senior Associate to join the Private Client Services team. Coordinate, plan, and supervise engagements including tax compliance, planning, and advisory work for diverse clients.

You will prepare federal, state, multi-state and international tax returns, conduct research on tax laws, respond to notices, and mentor interns, working within a collaborative culture that values work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 4+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience.
• Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, trusts/estates, and entities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and supervise multiple engagements including consulting, compliance, and tax planning services.
• Prepare federal, state, multi-state and international income tax returns.
• Conduct research and planning according to applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices as appropriate.
• Communicate with clients as directed by Manager.
• Work as part of an integrated team.
• Assist with training and mentoring of Interns and Associates.
