Job summary

Gilder Search Group partners with an Ohio-based premier independent accounting and advisory firm to identify a Senior Tax Associate ready for a leadership track. You will work with privately held businesses, mentor tax staff, and collaborate with senior tax leaders to expand planning and advisory services.

You will build client relationships, lead engagements, and drive value through proactive planning and technology-enabled tax solutions in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• CPA certification in progress with at least two sections completed.
• 2–4 years of public accounting tax experience.
• Experience with corporate, partnership, trust, and individual income tax returns.
• Strong technical research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Desire to mentor others and grow as a leader.
• Curiosity, initiative and passion for helping clients succeed.
• Comfort with automation and AI-enabled tax technology.

Compensation & Benefits

Target Base Salary: $95-108k commensurate with experience and credentials.
