Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent education/experience.
• Eight years of tax accounting experience.
• In-depth knowledge of assigned tax specialty.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Extract financial data from tax, accounting, and information systems for analyses.
• Review and/or prepare tax returns, provisions, and reports for authorities and management.
• Draft and/or review technical memos and outlines.
• Develop non-standard reports and statements.
• Lead projects including new tax laws and accounting principles.
• Research complex tax law and accounting principles.
• Monitor tax law to ensure data integrity.
• Perform special analyses and projects as requested.
• Offer leadership and direction to others.
• Evaluate processes for operational efficiencies and risk management.
• Develop tax analyses and reports with business insight.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve business issues.
