Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent education/experience.
• Eight years of tax accounting experience.
• In-depth knowledge of assigned tax specialty.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Extract financial data from tax, accounting, and information systems to perform analyses.
• Review and/or prepare tax returns, tax provisions, and financial reports for authorities and management.
• Draft and/or review technical memos and outlines.
• Develop non-standard reports and statements.
• Lead assigned projects including integration of new tax laws and accounting principles.
• Research complicated tax law and accounting principles; monitor tax law for data integrity.
• May manage staff and develop junior personnel.
