Transamerica is seeking a Tax professional to perform tax accounting, reporting and analysis. You will apply tax knowledge to diverse and complex activities and may oversee a specific function.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting, eight years of tax accounting experience, strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and advanced computer skills in a fast-paced environment. You'll work with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, comply with internal controls, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent education/experience.
• Eight years of tax accounting experience.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Extract financial data from tax, accounting, and information systems to perform analyses and review tax returns and provisions.
• Draft and/or review technical memos and outlines.
• Develop non-standard reports and statements.
• Lead projects including integration of new tax laws and accounting principles; monitor data integrity.
• Assist in evaluating processes for operational efficiencies and risk management.
• Possibly manage staff to achieve performance standards and mentor junior team members.
