Job description

Our client has an immediate opening for a highly motivated, organized, results-oriented Senior Tax Analyst in The Woodlands, Texas. This professional self-starter will join the Tax team and participate in the full cycle of direct tax from quarterly tax provisions and estimated tax payments to income tax return filings.

Primary Responsibilities

• Review of quarterly federal and state estimated tax liabilities
• Preparation and review of annual federal and state tax return extension requests
• Preparation of adjustments for quarterly financial reporting
• Preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns
• Research and respond to IRS and State Revenue Agency notices
• Keep informed of tax laws, regulations, and rulings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• At least 2 years of tax compliance preparation experience
• CPA is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills in MS Office and OneSource tax software experience
