We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Resource Management, Senior Specialist (Tax) in our Mid-Atlantic region.

This position is considered remote, allowing flexibility to work from anywhere. However, occasional presence at a CohnReznick office may be required for client work, meetings, or training with prior notice.

YOUR TEAM

Resource Management planning is crucial for mobilizing the right talent efficiently. It integrates with Employee Experience, Recruiting, Financial Planning, and Learning Development to meet our commitments to our people and business.

  • Design and guide workforce planning with an integrated, end-to-end approach.
  • Evolve processes, tools, and metrics towards a unified Resource Management team.
  • Evaluate ideas based on business value.
  • Continuously adapt workforce planning to business changes.

YOUR ROLE

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor utilization levels for 75+ professionals, identifying variances and issues.
  • Manage resource requests, PTO, CPE, via our RM technology platform.
  • Understand team specialization, timing, staffing, and geographic considerations.
  • Know employee skills, interests, and development preferences.
  • Use resource planning methodologies to inform decisions.
  • Report on staffing trends and resource allocation monthly.
  • Ensure workforce planning aligns with operational needs and service levels.
  • Communicate effectively internally and externally.
  • Use resource management platforms proficiently.
  • Influence planning proposals using data and business cases.
  • Oversee processes and technology performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
YOUR EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in Business Management, Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • At least 3 years in resource management or workforce planning, or as a client service professional in assurance or tax.
  • Knowledge of resource management procedures and policies.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and analytics.
  • Understanding of financial statements and utilization metrics.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
