The Sr. Tax Analyst is responsible for all sales and tax issues as well as providing guidance on the taxability of the company's products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the issuance of tax exemption and resale certificates to vendors, as well as review, approve, and track certificates from customers.
• Provide timely, accurate responses to sales/use tax inquiries from both internal and external customers.
• Offer guidance on the taxability of products and services.
• Register for sales/use tax purposes in new jurisdictions as needed and conduct self-assessment tax reviews.
• Support routine month-end close reconciliations.
• Support indirect tax audits and address regulatory agency documentation requests.
• Assist on special projects, research, and implement implications of law changes relating to tax matters.
• Investigate and resolve indirect tax notices.
• Manage property tax compliance with external service providers.
• Coordinate with external service providers to complete US sales/use tax compliance.
• Support day-to-day operational tax responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a multi-state sales/use tax environment.
• Previous sales/use tax audit experience and familiarity with vendor-billed sales tax.
• Proficiency in Vertex O and experience with D365 is a plus.
