The role focuses on conducting tax interviews and preparing accurate tax returns while building client relationships. Ideal candidates have CPA or Enrolled Agent certification and a track record of handling complex returns, with 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.

Qualifications

• Requires CPA or EA certification and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support (including audit representations where applicable)
• Mentor and support teammates
