BDO USA’s Private Client Services practice seeks a Tax Senior to deliver tax compliance and consulting for high net-worth individuals and families. The role emphasizes collaboration with clients and their advisors, overseeing complex returns, and mentoring staff.

The successful candidate will have a CPA or equivalent, 2+ years of tax experience, and strong research, leadership, and business development skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics, or CPA eligibility
• Master’s degree in Accountancy or Taxation preferred
• Two years of tax experience in public accounting or related field

Responsabilidades

• Participates in tax and consulting engagements and identifies client needs
• Gathers information to prepare tax returns
• Prepares complex tax returns (individual, trust, estate, S-Corp, foundation, partnership, gift) for Federal and State
• Reviews basic returns and provides feedback to staff
• Analyzes tax notices and drafts responses
• Performs advanced tax research and offers recommendations
• Works in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Prioritizes tasks and meets deadlines
• Builds relationships with other professionals inside and outside the firm
