Job summary

A Tax Senior in Private Client Services uses their education and experience to provide compliant, proactive tax consulting and service delivery, collaborating with advisors and other

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics is required; or CPA with another degree.
• Master's degree in Accountancy or Taxation is preferred.
• CPA/EA or attorney license is preferred

Responsibilities

• Participates in tax and consulting engagements and identifies client needs
• Works with clients and advisors to gather information for tax returns
• Prepares complex returns including individual, trust, estate, S-Corp, foundation, partnership and gift tax, Federal and State
• Reviews basic returns and provides feedback to staff and interns
• Analyzes tax notices and drafts responses
• Identifies technical issues and conducts advanced tax research for PCS leadership
• Works in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment independently or in a team
• Collaborates with other professionals inside and outside the firm
