You will interview clients to understand their financial situations and provide clear, personalized recommendations, building lasting relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• 5+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience preparing complex individual and business returns, including tax planning, audit support, and tax notice resolution.
• Experience working in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including explaining tax concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and tax implications.
• Build year-round client relationships by delivering consultative service and identifying tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment.
