Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• 5+ years in tax preparation or related field
• Experience with complex individual and business returns
• Client-facing advisory experience
• Ability to explain tax concepts to clients clearly
• Maintain continuing education and IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns for diverse client situations (individual and business)
• Conduct client interviews to assess financial and tax implications
• Provide tax savings recommendations and product/services guidance
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment
