Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a year-round Block Advisor Tax Advisor to prepare accurate tax returns and build lasting client relationships in a local Block Advisors office.

You will interview clients, assess complex tax situations, and deliver personalized recommendations with the support of industry-leading training and technology. You will collaborate with a talented team, providing IRS support, audit guidance, and tax notice resolution while promoting Block Advisors products and services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and promote Block Advisors products and services.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a client-focused office environment.
