H&R Block is seeking a year-round Block Advisor (Tax Advisor) to help clients navigate complex tax and business services. You will prepare accurate returns, uncover savings opportunities, and build lasting client relationships using industry-leading training and technology, with a competitive hourly rate and incentive plan.

This role is in-person at a local Block Advisors office, offering ongoing training and growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience preparing complex individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS and state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial life changes and tax implications.
• Build year-round client relationships with empathetic, consultative service and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive office environment.
