Job summary

EY is seeking a Seasonal Senior Manager to guide tax accounting and planning for clients, including internal restructurings, acquisitions, and GAAP/IFRS conversions. You’ll support tax provision preparation and help optimize controls beyond Sarbanes-Oxley 404.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in tax roles, CPA or bar membership, and a strong command of federal income tax. Salary ranges from $120 to $150 per hour across the US, reflecting education, experience and geography.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with significant tax or legal experience; MST, MAcc, or JD/LLM preferred.
• CPA license or active state bar membership
• Minimum of 10 years of work experience in professional services, tax organization, law firm, or IRS
• Broad understanding and experience with federal income taxation

Responsibilities

• Provide clients with tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning (internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-out financial statements, GAAP conversions from US GAAP to IFRS or IFRS to US GAAP, share based compensation, financial statement restatements and balance sheet remediation of tax accounts).
• Assist companies with all aspects of their preparation of the tax provision.
• Review the tax provision process to improve efficiency and accuracy and enhance the control environment and assessing tax risk and control environments inclusive of and beyond the boundaries of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.
