Job summary

EY seeks a Seasonal Senior Manager in the National Tax Department (TARAS) to deliver tax accounting and planning guidance for complex engagements, including GAAP conversions and tax provision work.

You will help clients prepare the tax provision and review processes to improve efficiency and strengthen the control environment, with opportunities across multinational assignments and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with significant tax or legal experience.
• Valid US CPA license or active state bar membership.
• Minimum of 10 years in professional services, tax organization, law firm, or IRS.
• Broad understanding of federal income taxation.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax guidance and consulting on tax accounting and planning (internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-out statements, GAAP conversions).
• Assist with preparation and review of the tax provision.
• Review tax provision processes to improve efficiency and accuracy and enhance controls.
• Assess tax risk and control environments beyond Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.
