Job summary

EY is seeking a Seasonal Senior Manager in Tax to guide clients on tax accounting and planning, including restructurings, acquisitions, and GAAP/IFRS conversions. You will review tax provisions and help enhance the control environment and risk management within the tax function.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, CPA license or state bar, and at least 8 years of relevant experience in professional services or IRS. Location is remote across the United States with EY’s FS O team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MST, MAcc, or JD/LLM preferred.
• Valid US CPA license or active state bar membership.
• Minimum of 8 years of work experience in professional services, tax organization, law firm, or IRS.
• Strong understanding of federal income taxation and tax accounting.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning.
• Oversee internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions and GAAP IFRS conversions.
• Review and improve tax provision processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Assess tax risk and strengthen control environments beyond SOX 404.
