Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 3–5 years of tax experience in public accounting.
• CPA designation is preferred.
• Technology skills to support tax engagements and client work.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and staff.
• Ability to mentor interns and newer staff.
• Self-motivated with ownership and time-management in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with solid analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review moderately complex federal, state, local, and special tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting by coordinating with partners, staff, and clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Maintain professional standards and stay current on tax developments and legislation.
• Contribute to firm success by promoting efficient engagement execution and client relations.
• Research issues and respond to client and staff questions clearly.
• Manage multiple client requests efficiently and timely.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
