Responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate federal, state, and local income tax returns (C-corporations)
• Lead ASC 740 / income tax provision work including deferred taxes
• Perform quarterly and annual tax provision calculations for client financials
• Analyze and reconcile tax-related accounts including deferred tax balances
• Research complex tax issues and provide actionable recommendations
• Support tax planning, structuring, and advisory projects
• Collaborate with clients, auditors, and internal teams to ensure timely deliverables
• Assist with tax notices and audits
• Drive improvements to scalable tax workflows

• Our client is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with strong corporate tax and deferred tax (ASC 740) experience to join our growing team. This role will support a diverse client base, focusing on tax compliance, income tax provisions, and strategic advisory. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate federal, state, and local income tax returns (C-corporations)
• Lead and support ASC 740 / income tax provision work, including deferred tax assets and liabilities, valuation allowances, and tax disclosures
• Perform quarterly and annual tax provision calculations for client financial statements
• Analyze and reconcile tax-related accounts, including deferred tax balances
• Research complex tax issues and deliver clear, actionable recommendations
• Support tax planning, structuring, and special advisory projects
• Partner directly with clients, auditors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
• Assist with tax notices, audits, and controversy matters
• Drive process improvements and contribute to scalable tax workflows
