Job summary

LV Petroleum in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join our corporate Accounting team. This role will manage multi-jurisdiction tax compliance as the company grows rapidly in travel centers and retail fuel.

You will prepare and file sales, use, and excise returns across states, conduct tax research, and help improve processes. A Bachelor's in Accounting and 3+ years in tax is required; prior retail/fuel experience is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on sales, use, and excise tax experience (required).
• Strong knowledge of multi-jurisdiction tax regulations (retail, fuel, hospitality).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax research tools.
• Experience with tax compliance, reporting, and financial data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Prior experience in retail, fuel, travel centers, or multi-location environments is a strong plus.

About the Role
