Job summary

Kirby Inland Marine Lp is seeking a Field Operations Coordinator to schedule and manage field personnel and their training requirements, ensuring the highest quality safety and performance standards.

You will oversee manpower for internal and external customers, manage safety and training compliance, and coordinate with other Kirby departments to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Shore Tankering Operations Group demonstrating Kirby Way and core values.
• Oversee scheduling of manpower for internal and external customers.
• Manage safety and training requirements to meet company, customer, facility, and federal standards (annual site-specific training; annual company training including CBT and AWO).
• Perform annual performance evaluations for tank barge PIC.
• Coordinate with Kirby departments to meet customer and company needs.
• Oversee vendor-managed tank barge PIC and monitor vendor performance.
• Supervise field personnel and ensure proper training is delivered.
• Assist with procedure development to ensure safe operations.
• Contribute to projects like incident investigations and manpower analysis.
• Manage supply inventory for tankering operations.
• Interface with local customers to meet demand and resolve incidents.
