Job summary

In this role, you will lead the Shore Tankering Operations Group, coordinate with internal departments and external customers, manage vendor activities, and drive training programs and incident investigations to maintain Kirby's Core Values.

Qualifications

• Tankering experience preferred (minimum 3 years) with DL endorsement.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient with computer systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Oasis, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Lead Shore Tankering Operations Group and demonstrate Kirby Values.
• Oversee manpower management for internal and external customers.
• Ensure safety and training compliance with company, customer, facility, and federal requirements.
• Coordinate with other Kirby departments to meet customer needs.
• Oversee vendor tank barge PIC workload and performance.
• Assist with procedure development to ensure safe operations.
• Manage supply inventory for tankering operations.
• Interact with local customers to meet demand and resolve incidents.
• Supervise field personnel and training delivery.
