Job summary

Explorer Pipeline seeks an experienced engineer to manage aboveground tank projects from initiation to closure, including inspections, repairs, and modifications. You will coordinate API 653 inspections, develop plans, and oversee contractors while maintaining comprehensive documentation.

The role requires a strong background in tank integrity, project management, and regulatory compliance, with API 653 inspector certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and API 653 tank project experience.
• API 653 Inspector certification preferred; CWI certification desirable.
• Experience in cathodic protection and coatings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage aboveground tank construction, inspection, repair, and modification projects from initiation through closure.
• Coordinate API 653 tank inspections and manage repairs as needed.
• Develop estimates, project plans, and manage external contractors and vendors.
• Document, record, and maintain information about inspections, repairs, and modifications of tanks.
• Develop and maintain operation/maintenance procedures and support IMP.
• Present training programs to engineers and pipeline personnel.
• Represent the Company in regulatory audits as part of Asset Integrity.
