Job summary

HF Sinclair is seeking a Tank Integrity Specialist to support the Integrity Management Program and lead or oversee related work within the Tank Integrity group. The role involves planning and conducting API and environmental inspections, managing schedules, and coordinating with field personnel and contractors.

Ideal candidates have eight years of experience with tanks, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields, and API certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years in Plant/Terminal/above ground storage tank inspection, repairs, and mechanical integrity program.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline; API 653 certification preferred in lieu of degree.
• Experience with integrity management programs and procedure development/revision.
• API certifications (e.g., API 653, API 570, API 510) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of construction, inspection, and repair codes and standards.
• Conduct API and Environmental inspections across the fleet.
• Manage tank integrity project inspections, schedules, and status.
• Develop technical solutions and process improvements with management.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors and train junior staff.
