Job summary

ExxonMobil in Spring, TX is seeking an experienced Tank and Facility Integrity Engineer to lead inspection programs, manage corrosion control, and ensure regulatory compliance across tanks, pipelines, and facilities. You will work with Operations, Field Engineering, Projects Engineering, and SSHE teams to deliver practical integrity solutions.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in tank or facility integrity, inspection, or corrosion engineering.
• Working knowledge of API 653, API 510, API 570, and ASME codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate inspection programs for tanks and facilities; assess fitness-for-service and remaining life.
• Monitor corrosion activity and implement mitigation strategies to manage degradation and risk.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (API 653, API 510, API 570, ASME).
• Develop and maintain tank and facility inspection schedules with accurate documentation.
• Evaluate data to recommend repairs or continued service based on engineering judgment and FFS methodologies.
• Interface with Operations and Field Engineers to communicate findings and prioritize actions.
• Support integrity scope for new projects; ensure design/construction meet integrity standards.
• Travel 30-50% to field locations as needed.
