Job summary

Reproductive Freedom for All, based in Washington, DC, seeks an Associate Director of Talent Operations to lead talent management across the organization, focusing on performance management, employee relations, and equitable decision-making.

The role partners with the Equity, Culture & Talent function to implement tools, training, and processes that empower managers to lead effectively while upholding standards of equity and confidentiality. This is a full-time, exempt, non-union position.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of human resources, people operations, or administrative experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams, coaching and mentoring staff.
• Experience supporting managers in performance management, employee relations, and talent processes.
• Experience developing manager training materials and facilitating workshops on core people practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support to managers on performance management processes, including goal setting and PIPs.
• Serve as a point of contact for managers on employee relations, offering guidance grounded in policies and compliance.
• Support managers in navigating sensitive employee situations with a values-aligned approach.
• Design and deliver training and resources for managers on core people practices, including coaching and feedback.
• Standardize manager-facing tools and resources to promote transparency and consistency.
• Roll out new policies and initiatives with tailored guidance for supervisors.
• Partner with supervisors to assess team needs and support full-cycle hiring.
• Draft, review, and refine job descriptions for clarity and equity.
• Collaborate with ECT team on promotions and compensation-related documentation.
• Identify trends and recommend process improvements and resources.
• Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Additional duties as needed.
