Job summary

ProShares in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent & Employee Experience to shape how we develop, retain, and engage our people across the employee lifecycle. You will partner with the CHRO to build a holistic talent framework and drive onboarding, performance, and engagement in a ~175-person financial services firm.

This is an individual contributor role that requires hands-on execution, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate at both strategy and implementation levels.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience across talent management, employee experience and performance, not just L&D program delivery.
• Ability to think holistically about onboarding, development, performance, and engagement and how they connect.
• Hands-on experience with succession planning and talent reviews; you have run these processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CHRO to build and evolve the firm's talent framework, including talent reviews, succession planning structure, and the tools and processes that support them.
• Shape the employee experience across the full lifecycle: onboarding, performance assessment, calibration, manager enablement, and engagement sustainment.
• Build and run onboarding experiences that set employees up for early success and immersion in culture and business.
• Lead the performance management cycle end-to-end with timelines, tools, and managerial guidance.
• Strengthen manager capability through targeted coaching and development support.
• Assess learning needs and develop practical solutions, from focused initiatives to structured resources.
• Support DEI initiatives and integrate them into the broader employee experience.
• Manage HR talent calendar and ensure ongoing processes stay on track.
• Leverage Paylocity for performance tracking, development planning, and talent reporting.
• Oversee LinkedIn Learning and LMS usage to drive relevance and adoption.
