Job summary

Environmental Defense Fund seeks a Senior Specialist, Talent Development to design, implement, and measure learning solutions that advance our TD goals, with hands-on work in EDF’s LMS. The role spans leadership development, training delivery, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

This hybrid position covers the Greater NY and Austin areas, offering end-to-end program ownership, data-driven evaluation, and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4+ years in designing, developing, and facilitating enterprise-wide learning, leadership development, or talent management programs.
• Hands-on LMS administration experience; Workday Learning preferred; experience with Cornerstone, SAP, Docebo, or similar systems.
• Experience managing vendor relationships.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills across all staff levels.
• Ability to work across a growing, geographically dispersed organization with diverse cultures.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and facilitates engaging learning sessions using ILT, e-learning, blended formats, and webinars.
• Manages TD programs end-to-end, including scheduling, communications, and tech setup.
• Administers and optimizes the LMS for content, reporting, and program tracking.
• Establishes metrics and scorecards to evaluate training impact and drive improvements.
• Manages program timelines, budgets, and resources; may lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Collaborates with HRBPs to align TD strategies with local and global needs and standards.
• Manages vendor relationships and implements TD communication strategies.
• Supports Onboarding, Performance Management, and other TD initiatives as needed.
