Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta seeks a Senior Talent Development Architect to design and deliver virtual and in-person education, applying best practices in instructional design and learning technologies. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, talent development, instructional design, organizational development, or related areas.
  • Experience designing and implementing virtual, classroom, eLearning, blended learning, and leadership development programs.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex projects and influencing stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, learning technologies, and performance consulting practices.
  • Experience facilitating leadership, development, and organizational learning programs.
  • Professional certifications such as CPTD, ATD, SHRM-CP/SCP, PMP, Prosci, or related credentials. (Preferred)
  • Experience in healthcare, academic medical centers, or large complex organizations. (Preferred)
  • Experience implementing learning management systems (LMS), digital learning platforms, and talent development technologies. Workday Learning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Senior Talent Development Architect will be responsible for creating and designing our virtual (live and on-demand) and in-person educational experiences. The Senior TD Architect will also ensure that the training experiences reflect good practices in Instructional Design and the use of educational technologies, including face-to-face delivery, action learning, course platforms, asynchronous learning, eLearning courses, videos, virtual Instructor-Led training (vILT), and other learning solutions, with a focus on incorporating a variety of media and learning methods to create an effective learning environment.

The Senior TD Architect will design sessions with various stakeholders such as HR Business Partners, SMEs, facilitators, colleagues, and senior-level leaders across multiple disciplines/functional roles. The Senior TD Architect will also provide Project Management oversight of his/her assigned projects and facilitate any needed learning sessions. In addition to program design responsibilities, this position provides leadership and direction for talent development initiatives, mentors learning professionals, manages complex cross-functional projects, and drives innovation in learning strategy and delivery.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Instructional Design, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of progressive experience in learning and development, talent development, instructional design, organizational development, or related areas.
  • Experience designing and implementing virtual, classroom, eLearning, blended learning, and leadership development programs.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex projects and influencing stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, learning technologies, and performance consulting practices.
  • Experience facilitating leadership, development, and organizational learning programs
