Job summary

Uber is seeking a data-driven TA Analytics professional to empower recruiting with predictive models, data quality improvements, and strategic insights. You will partner with TA leadership to deliver dashboards and prescriptive analytics that guide hiring decisions and technology evaluation.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, strong SQL and Python/R skills, and a track record of delivering actionable data storytelling to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in data analysis, data science, analytics engineering, or similar roles.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and statistical modeling using Python or R.
• Advanced SQL skills and exposure to MySQL and BigQuery.
• Proficiency with analytics engineering workflows and version control platforms (Dataform, dbt, GitHub).
• Strong proficiency with enterprise data visualization tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau) and data storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Predictive Analytics & Modeling: build models forecasting pipeline health and time-to-fill.
• AI tool evaluation: assess ROI, efficacy, and bias of new tools and workflows.
• Strategic metrics: define QoH, skills-based hiring efficacy, and mobility metrics.
• Analytics engineering & modeling: transform raw data into structured models and improve pipelines.
• Data visualization strategy: design dashboards and drive prescriptive insights.
• Ad-hoc analytics: support complex requests from TA and People Organization.
