Job summary

Doña Ana County’s Talent & Culture Department seeks a seasoned manager to lead the Talent Acquisition Division, oversee compensation and classification programs, and guide workforce planning initiatives. Qualifications

• Five years of professional experience in talent acquisition, compensation and classification, workforce planning, organizational development, or human resources administration.
• Three years of supervisory or management experience leading professional staff.
• Public sector HR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Talent Acquisition and Compensation & Classification programs.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and outreach initiatives countywide.
• Conduct market analyses, salary studies, and position evaluations.
• Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track workforce trends and program performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, County policies, and professional standards.
• Provide guidance to managers on recruitment, classification, compensation, and workforce matters.
