Fincantieri Marine Group currently has an opportunity for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at the Green Bay, Wisconsin location.

Fincantieri Marine Group (FMG) is the United States subsidiary of Italian shipbuilding giant Fincantieri, one of the world's largest shipbuilders, employing more than 19,000 shipbuilding professionals in 20 shipyards on four continents. POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist on our Corporate Talent Acquisition team is responsible for engaging in the full scope of talent acquisition activities with a focus on technical and hard to fill roles. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will identify, recruit, screen, and present quality candidates for technical and hard to fill positions, collaborating with hiring managers to continue the growth on our departments teams in our system of shipyards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assists the talent acquisition team with facilitating and scheduling interviews, tours, meetings, coordinating travel, etc. and gathering/completing all necessary paperwork to submit to the appropriate department.
  • Follow through on all resumes and applications received; assist applicants with website, completing applications, general questions and updates on progress.
  • Assist with data entry, maintaining files, job offer proposal creation, forms and database information associated with personnel, general information and recruiting.
  • Attract hourly and salary candidates by posting positions to appropriate internet sources, approved recruiters, and other recruiting sources.
  • Assist in coordination, documentation, and attend; internal career fairs, general career fairs, college career fairs and intern recruiting initiatives.
  • Assist with HR and Talent Acquisition projects.
  • Assist in recruitment vendor communication, reporting, and updates as needed
  • Assist in gathering data for internal and external applicant consideration
  • Identifies applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; maintaining rapport.
  • Assist in entering new requisitions in ADP Recruitment Management and assigns approval workflow.
  • Updates and maintains recruiting workflow in ADP Recruitment Management from the opening of a new requisition through cancellation or closure.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by studying job description, discussing job requirements/qualifications with hiring managers, prescreening and interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, and verifying references.
  • Proposes and negotiates approved offers of employment.
  • Prepares official offer letters and completes the on-boarding process.
  • Communicate process and all required orientation information to new hires prior to start date.
  • Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
  • Improves organization attractiveness by becoming an expert in our company brand, programs we offer, emphasizing our benefits, incentives in place, our company culture and future goals.
  • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Must abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have a proven track record in filling technical and hard to fill roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 4+ years of professional level experience.
  • Associates degree in related field and 6+ years' technical, professional, and/or high volume corporate recruitment experience within medium to large organizations.
  • This requirement can also be met with a High School diploma and at least 8+ years of technical, professional, and/or high volume corporate recruitment experience within medium to large organizations.
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or Human Resource Information System (HRIS) desired.
  • Must have excellent follow-up skills with a client service mentality and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hands-on, high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and other government compliance regulations is preferred
