Job summary

Helmerich and Payne in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Recruiter for a contract role (through a third-party staffing agency). This onsite position supports Talent Acquisition across corporate, operational, and technical roles, delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, coordinate interviews, ensure compliance, and partner with HR and business leaders to fill roles while maintaining confidentiality and high service standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, talent acquisition, communications, education, staffing, customer service, sales, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the full recruitment lifecycle for corporate, operational, and technical positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and recruitment strategies.
• Source, screen, and assess candidates through various channels.
• Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and facilitate progression through the process.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in the ATS.
• Ensure recruiting activities comply with employment laws and company policies.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics, including travel arrangements as needed.
• Assist with onboarding activities including I-9 processing and rehire documentation.
