Oliver James is a global recruitment firm expanding in the USA. We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to lead experienced recruiter hiring across Oliver James USA, partnering with Directors and senior leaders on market strategy and talent pipelines.

This role blends agency recruitment rigor with internal TA responsibilities, including headhunting, selling career opportunities to passive candidates, and driving successful placements in a fast-moving market.

Qualifications

• Agency recruitment experience is essential.
• Ideally, you’ll already work in Talent Acquisition for a recruitment agency, hiring experienced recruiters into an agency environment.
• We’ll also consider successful 360 agency recruiters looking to move into internal TA who bring strong sales capability, market knowledge and the ability to influence passive candidates.
• You’ll need a minimum of two years’ agency recruitment experience and a strong understanding of recruiter motivations, desk performance, market opportunity, progression and earning potential.

Responsibilities

• Headhunt and engage experienced recruiters across our specialist markets.
• Build proactive talent pipelines aligned to future growth.
• Sell the Oliver James opportunity to passive candidates.
• Manage candidates through the full recruitment lifecycle.
• Conduct first-stage interviews and candidate assessments.
• Partner with senior leadership on hiring strategy and market insight.
• Assess motivation, commercial capability and agency recruitment alignment.
• Drive referral and talent attraction initiatives.
• Partner with Talent and Marketing on recruitment campaigns.
• Track pipeline activity, hiring performance and recruitment data.
• Support onboarding and post-placement aftercare.
