Job summary

Project Enhancement Corporation is seeking a General Instructor to join the OST training staff in Fort Smith, AR, with responsibility for training DOE and contractor personnel. The role requires providing specialized instruction in firearms, small-unit tactics, law enforcement control tactics/combatives, and/or physical fitness training.

The instructor will maintain mastery-level knowledge, apply modern training methodologies, and lead evaluations of course presentations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) or equivalent; military or law enforcement experience may be considered
• Must master at least 4 of the listed skills: firearms, tactics, LE experience, or fitness training
• Excellent oral and written communication and strong organizational skills
• Willingness to work with customers in a changing environment and occasional long hours
• Ability to travel to locations throughout the CONUS and obtain DOE clearance

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the OST training staff, responsible for training DOE and contractor personnel
• Provide specialized instruction in Firearms, Small-unit Tactics, Law Enforcement Control Tactics/Combatives, and/or Physical Fitness Training
• Maintain mastery level knowledge and competency in area(s) of expertise
• Apply comprehensive training/learning methodologies and techniques
• Lead and evaluate training presentations to ensure objectives are met
• Complete course and project administrative tasks within scheduled timeframes
• Maintain safety and quality management principles in all duties
• Test students to measure progress and training effectiveness
• Remain flexible, proactive, and professional, with strong customer focus
• Travel to locations throughout the CONUS as required
