Job summary

United Defense Tactical is seeking a skilled Firearms Instructor to join our team. You will conduct training sessions, teach firearm safety, handling, and shooting techniques, and utilize our threat-based simulator along with reality-based force-on-force training and live-fire sessions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of instructor or law enforcement experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain safety across outdoor range operations while staying current with industry

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Strong knowledge of firearm safety and handling protocols.
Ability to learn and adhere to UDT's curriculum.
Minimum of 3 years as firearms instructor or law enforcement officer.
Familiarity with a variety of firearms and operation.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
Comfortable working in an outdoor range environment and holding necessary certificates.

Responsibilities

Instruct members using UDT's threat-based reality simulator.
Teach force-on-force and self-defense training courses.
Conduct firearms training sessions for individuals and groups, including safety and shooting techniques.
Teach proper firearm safety rules and protocols to participants.
Maintain training equipment and facility.
Monitor and maintain a safe range environment during sessions.
Evaluate participant performance and provide improvement feedback.
